Yo hago este plato desde hace muchos años, nos gusta mucho, so,o que la cebolla la pongo mas caramelizada y a la carne le pongo las verduras que tenga, como zucchini, zanahoria, arvejas, lo que tenga. Me encanta, realmente tu cocinas más o menos ll que yo cocino, con verduras y poca carne. I've been trawling the interweb looking for a channel like this. I'm British, off on holiday at the weekend with the whole family, (kids and grandkids), to a villa, (something I think is going to happen a lot in the future). I like cooking and while I'm happy to eat out don't think you can beat a nice home cooked meal around the pool which is what I want to teach the grandchildren. This is exactly what I've been looking for, simple easy ingredients we all understand and even us Brits can source in a local supermarket abroad and also recipes that seem to give a little bit of leeway on the ingredients allowing you to swap, for example, parma ham for baked beans! Just kidding there about the baked beans.........

It’s delicious. I cook this at least once a week but I add approx. 1 cup of tomato paste & one jalapeño for bite, color & flavor. I cook it the same way my mom did all our lives. Either way, it’s a delicious recipe.

In England we have cottage pie which uses mince, diced onion, carrot and anything else you have handy. Topped with mashed potato. In fact in our house we never even bothered with an oven just cooked the meat and veg in a little fat/oil and added mashed potatoes on the plate.
